This house was intended for a private luxurious residential house that accommodates a family with safety, effectiveness, convenient, style, and warmth. Its structures and building materials including both exterior and interior have been strictly chosen by us (owners). We have been supervising from the beginning until the house is completely and properly built. Besides supervising, we have selected a particular contractor that specializes constructing the type of house which we wanted; and an experience interior designer to help us beautifying the inside.
We first intended to design a minimalist combining with modern style. Considering that a house needs to blend into surroundings and values to the market. Then, we decided to build a house with a classic look in the front face of the house combining modern style for the interior except there are few spots that we put classic ornaments as focal points. All the ornaments for both exterior and interior including ceilings and walls are resin based materials. The ornaments have been customized to properly match our personal requests and support the interior decorations. They are truly magnificent and only one of their kind.
Safety is the number one motive for selecting the best out of the best materials. We have employed Panton Pile; a specialized company to construct first-class foundation of the house. Its company is a well experienced in their field as they have been constructing thousands and more houses in PIK (Pantai Indah Kapuk). Ours is the last house to be permitted in the area and being direct supervised our chosen contractor for the thumper method being done. This first-class constructing foundation can hold up to 7.0-7.9 earthquake magnitude scale. Therefore, it is a very well planned foundation structures to support a three and fourth floor house.
Effectiveness and convenient are to follow safety reason so to live, stay and settle will be able maximizing the spaces inside the house. All available spaces have been precisely planned to ease daily workloads and maximized for greater human movement. Moreover, it is important to point out that this house has its own MCB on every floor to assist sudden blackouts. One area is set to put noisy/ or silent electrical generator (not included) so that the electricity would still be available when there were sudden blackouts. Another thing to mention that this house purposes to save electricity particularly in the afternoon, even though lights were being turn off; it were bright inside the house.
It is visible to see that this house themes Classic-Victorian style and the ivory painted color on the exterior bring some senses of tenderness, loveliness, appealing, and natural. We have purposely chosen the ivory painted color both on the walls and classic ornaments so they appear to be truly natural. Subsequently, several kind of marble tiles (80% imports) and local have been set to decorate the majority of interior floor. Granite tiles are also set to decorate the balcony because they are suitable materials and commonly used for tropical country particularly in Indonesia. More importantly to state that the house has a very good air circulation condition with a big void. It surely gives greater breathing spaces and comfort for relaxation and releasing stress period. The whole rooftop use heat insulation materials, to reduce radiation up to 97% and reduce heat up to 7 degrees Celsius. Save electricity and energy.
All materials have been strictly chosen by us so that they can perfectly blend with the tone and ambiance that we have hoped for the house to become, and look like. In conclusion, we recognize that many of the details have not been explained in greater depth exploration.
